Gentle Together Einn (org. no. 937 967 357) is the data controller for personal data collected through gentletogether.com and its related projects, including Bipolarklubben and MoodSteady. We take privacy seriously and only process data we need to deliver our services.
1. Data we process
- Account data: name, email address and (hashed) password.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
- Usage data: which pages and tools you use, to improve the service.
- Content you enter into tools and communities.
- Support communication: emails you send us.
2. Purpose and legal basis
We process data to deliver and administer the services (contract), meet accounting and bookkeeping obligations (legal obligation), improve the services (legitimate interest) and send essential service messages.
3. Data processors
We use selected providers to operate the services:
- Stripe – payments and billing.
- Cloudflare / Lovable – hosting and infrastructure.
- Email provider for transactional email and support.
Processors are bound by data processing agreements. Transfers outside the EU/EEA only occur with a valid transfer mechanism such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. Retention
Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Accounting data is retained for at least five years as required by Norwegian bookkeeping law. Support emails are normally deleted after 24 months.
5. Your rights
- Access to your own data.
- Correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion when there is no legal basis for further storage.
- Data portability.
- The right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no).
6. Cookies
We only use necessary cookies to operate the service and remember settings such as language preference. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies on gentletogether.com.
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and logging.
